Saturday 21st Aug to Friday 27th August
1st XI v Teddington away in the league, we lost by 113 runs. Having won the toss we put Teddington in to bat and reduced them to 69 for 6 with David Goodchild taking 5 wickets. However after lunch the opposition batsman dug in and took the score to 237 for 8 off their maximum 65 overs. We were bowled out for 124 off 44 overs and thus lost our 1st game this season.
2nd XI v Acton at home, having lost the toss we were put in to bat and were all out for 157, with Nilanjan Majumdar scoring 74 but not getting any support at the other end. Our bowlers fought back but Acton won with their last wicket at the crease.
3rd XI v Twickenham at home, we batted first and scored 202, Will Dunn (59) and Path Rasan (50) putting on 100 for the 1st wicket and bowled the opposition out for 170 with Danny Skilton taking the first 5 wickets to fall and ending up with 6 for 41.

1st, 2nd and 3rd XI games washed out.
Saturday 7th Aug to Friday 13th August
1st XI v Shepherds Bush at home in the league, we won having restricted the opposition to 199 runs. We won the toss and put Shepherds Bush in to bat, skipper Tom Scollay took 5 wickets for 53 runs and then scored 99 quick runs. Ravi Patel took 3 for 44 to wrap up the opposition innings. We only took 37.3 overs to knock off the required runs for the loss of 3 wickets with David Goodchild unbeaten on 30. The 1st XI lead the table by 3 points over Ealing.
2nd XI v Southgate away in the league, we won by 7 wickets.
3rd XI v Hampstead away in the league, we won by 124 runs having scored 246 for 8 off our 50 overs. 3rd XI skipper Ben Frais led the way by scoring 78 n.o. and was supported by Neil Stanley 39n.o. in a vital 8th wicket partnership. Earlier Phil Costard had made 55. Sam Moody took 5 wickets and James Roan chipped in with 4.
Sat 31st July to Friday 6th August
1st XI v Acton at home in the league, we won our 3rd consecutive game to stay top of the league. Acton won the toss and put us in to bat and at 12 for 2 with both Tom Scollay and Simon BUtler out and Adam Rossington away on England U19 duties, things looked a bit dodgy. However David Goodchild and Sachin Gulvady put on a 188 run 4th wicket partnership, which is the highest 4 wicket partnership in all divisions of the MPCL this season. David hit 6 sixes in his 145 and Sachin scored a run a ball 79, David's aggressive innings allowed Tom to declare after only 57 overs leaving Acton to score 305 off 67 overs. Acton started well and were 96 for 1 in the over before tea when Jivan Lotay was brought on to ball his off spinners and he bowled Acton's leading run scorer this season Yasir Mehmood with his first delivery. After tea, Acton wickets fell at regular intervals and they finished on 249 all out, Jivan took 5 for 75 and Ravi Patel took 3 for 74.
2nd XI v Brentham away in the league, we won the toss and decided to bowl first and managed to bowl them out for 226 off their 50 overs and we scored the winning runs in the last over with 2 wickets remaining, Ed Stolle top scoring with 69.
