It is with great regret that the club has had to cancel (for the second year running) the planned Colts tour to Nottingham. This is particularly sad as the U15/U17 squads were the target tourists and some of them, who wanted to go, have been disappointed.

It is hoped that next year will see a revival in interest for this exceptional opportunity for colts to play longer games of cricket against good opposition while based at Trent Bridge.

Eastcote is planning what will be the club's 11^th tour to the Nottingham area this summer.

There will be 5 games, each of 35 or 40 overs per side, and each tourist will probably get to play in at least three of them. Once again, we will be staying in the excellent accommodation in the Radcliffe Road stand at Trent Bridge. We plan to travel up to Nottingham on the Monday of the tour, 23rd August.

The cost is £240, and although room prices have increased slightly, this sum is calculated to cover the cost of the accommodation including nets, all main meals, match expenses and travel costs.
