Geoff Wilkins 24th January 1936 - 24th December 2009

It is with regret that I have to inform members that our President Geoff Wilkins sadly lost his fight against cancer on Christmas Eve.
 
Geoff had been a member of the club for over 50 years and was recently made a Vice President of the club. For many years he was captain of our 1st XI. Eastcote. The club he loved, meant everything to Geoff and he was proud to represent and serve the club in his roles as Captain, President and over the last year as Ground Manager.
 
He was always keen to promote the club, and many of our Honorary Overseas members in Holland, West Indies and Australia were due to Geoff's connections.
 
He will be sadly missed.

Geoff's funeral will be held at Breakspear Crematorium on Monday 11th January @ 2pm

Following the service to celebrate Geoff's life we would like to invite you all back to Eastcote Cricket Club.  
 
There will be family flowers only, but donations are welcome to 'Chemotherapy Suite - Trust Fund'.  Geoff had most of his treatment at Mount Venon and the care of the staff and quality of attention was second to none.
