The nominations for Officers and Captains notice is now up at the club. Any member may stand providing they are nominated and seconded by a member. The notice will be up until 1 week before the AGM. The following have already indicated they will not be standing and new committee members are therefore required:-

The AGM is on Sunday 6^th December at 10.30am. It is an important event in the club's calendar and is open to all members - both player and social. We look forward to a healthy attendance. The annual report will be posted to members in Mid November.

Please note that, effective from 1^st November, dogs will no longer be allowed within the clubhouse. This is due to experiences over the last year when several dogs have been inside at the same time and some have caused noisy disruption and wandered around off the lead, sometimes in to the kitchen. Our reasoning is made after a lot of thought and takes in to account various issues including hygiene, as food and drink is prepared in the clubhouse.  We would ask all members to respect the new rule please.

The Annual Dinner Dance is not far away and we are expecting over 160. Sara will be sending out final details to everyone shortly. If you have not paid in full, please pay Sara urgently.

Many thanks to all those who helped on the Funday. The stalls took an astonishing £4,890 on the day. In addition the 2 bars took over £3,000. A great boost for club funds, and a great day which continued in to the evening with the Men v Ladies rounders match.

We pride ourselves on being a family club and a facility which can be enjoyed by all. However could we please remind members that parents are still responsible for their children's safety and behaviour, and that their enjoyment should not be to the detriment of other members.

Finally, a further house-keeping reminder. Please appreciate that this is a members' club. Members must sign in all guests. A maximum of 2 guests are allowed at any one time with a maximum of 6 visits a year.  After this, if they wish to use the facilities they should apply for membership in their own right. Membership applications are kept behind the bar and are processed regularly.
